Join Galen Deery & The Reason Why for their album release concert, performing "UNTAMED FREEDOM" live! With soaring choruses, an uplifting message, and shredding guitar solos, Galen Deery & The Reason Why have crafted a new sound. Taking influence from groups like Jane's Addiction, Coldplay, Led Zeppelin created a launch pad for something different. Their “music electrified the crowd and nearly blew the roof off with an incendiary set." - John Moser (The Morning Call). Since 2018, Galen & The Reason Why have toured across the United States, headlining festivals, and opening for acts like Trevor Hall, Dirtwire, The Happy Fits, and more. Galen's songs have found placements in TV shows like "Grey’s Anatomy” and “Young and the Restless." Internationally, he's performed in Australia, Scotland, India, and England. Now most recently, in the beginning of 2024 he signed with Universal Music Group and SSK Records to release a series of brand new songs under his own name. Galen started on the drums at age 7 sparking an early sense of rhythm which set the stage for his songwriting journey at age 13. He joined the School of Rock program in his hometown where he was connected with guitarist, Will Coccia and drummer, Pete Ciccone. Then in college, meeting bassist David Beitler solidified the current line up of the group. Galen & Mystik Fool fuse Rock, Reggae, Pop, Folk and medicine music to create an expression they call Alternative Pop or Alt-Pop. You can hear this style in the track “Vibration” off the 2023 album Properties of Zero.
