In 2014, he was honored with the Soul Music Award, a testament to his exceptional talent and contribution to the genre. Over the years, he has received an impressive 40 nominations from various prestigious organizations, including the Josie Music Awards, ISSA Awards, and the Red Carpet Awards Europe, highlighting his influence and standing within the music community.
Before establishing his solo career, John DeRosa was the lead guitar player for a multi-gold and platinum Nashville recording artist, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the music industry. This experience paved the way for his own success, including recent achievements such as landing a #4 position on Spotify playlists for country songs in 2023 and a #7 ranking on Australian FM radio in 2024.
Currently, John is actively working on new projects with the John DeRosa Band and has recently signed with a prominent Nashville record label, as well as a talent agency and booking agency, positioning himself for even greater accomplishments in 2025.
