Just Born Quality Confections and ArtsQuest are pleased to invite your school to participate in the fifteenth annual Lehigh Valley PEEPS® Scholastic Diorama Competition! The Diorama Competition is a central part of PEEPSFEST® (December 30 and 31), a two-day celebration of the PEEPS® brand and the iconic PEEPS® chick, the #1 non-chocolate Easter candy, produced right here in the Lehigh Valley.
The task is simple; decide on an idea and create a diorama using your favorite Just Born Quality Confections candy! Your diorama may depict any subject, from silly to serious! Each school may submit as many entries as they put together.
Three categories will be judged for prizes:
Kindergarten through second grade (K-2)
Third through sixth grade (3-6)
Seventh through twelfth grade (7-12)
The Virtual PEEPS® Scholastic Diorama Competition will once again feature an online gallery and online voting so friends and family across the country can view and vote for the coveted PEEPle’s Choice winner! The PEEPle’s Choice winner will receive PEEPS® Candy Packages with samples of Just Born Quality Confections candies. Submission instructions to follow with diorama contest rules later in October.
A panel of local judges will also select the Judge’s Choice award in each of the categories listed above. Other categories will include a “family” and “business” category as well to spread the sweetness! The Judge’s Choice winners will receive PEEPS® Candy Packages with samples of Just Born Quality Confections candies and one overall grand prize winner of the Judge’s Choice will be notified on December 28. The grand prize winner will get to "drop" the illuminated New Year's Eve PEEPS® chick at approximately 5:30 PM on December 31st when thousands of visitors will gather to enjoy this family-friendly New Year's tradition and ensuing fireworks show.

Once registered, we will send you a copy of the rules and regulations for the PEEPS® Scholastic Diorama Competition. In addition, Just Born Quality Confections will donate a limited supply of candies to help get those creative juices flowing! More details on how to pick up your supply will be e-mailed out later in October.
