Payton Renee

12-1 p.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m.

Payton Renee, nicknamed the “Groovy girl”, is a singer-songwriter from the Lehigh Valley focusing on the genres of rock, country, and alternative, singing covers and original songs. Her musical journey began at the age of 14.  She went to open mics, participated in school showcases and musicals, and eventually created her own open mics and shows with the help of Chet Brown who was the outreach coordinator during her time at LVCA.

Payton is a Kutztown University of Pennsylvania graduate with a BA in Commercial Music: focusing on voice while also studying minors in Audio Engineering and Philosophy. She was also a member of the school’s rock bands where she was able to focus on shaping herself as an artist.

Over the past few years, Payton has played at restaurants all over the valley, The Musikfest Café, Musikfest, the Blast Furnace Blues Festival, The Celebration of Music Talent Show with host Ethan Bortnick, and has opened for Seth Witcher and Dana Fuchs.

Payton has been working as a Production Assistant at ArtsQuest since September 2023 where she runs live sound for many amazing performing artists.
